On the morning of Wednesday Aug. 23, 2023, William F. Smith, better known as “Billy”went home to be with the Lord.
Billy was born in Chicago, Ill. in 1951. He spent his life as a hard worker, working in the steel industry. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Billy leaves behind his wife Robin, his daughter Breanna and his grandchildren Elijah and Savannah.
Services for Billy will be held at Hedges Scott Funeral Home Monday Aug. 28. A viewing will be held at noon and services will follow. Billy will be transported to St. Patrick’s Cemetary in Laurie, to be laid to rest.
We welcome anyone who knew Billy to come as we remember an amazing man, father, husband and friend.
